Mercedes-Benz Engine Factory, Jawor, Poland

The first Mercedes-Benz factory in Poland, manufacturing engines and electric batteries, is located approximately 70 km west of Wroclaw in the municipality of Jawor, within the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. Operating under the newly established company Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland, the facility produces four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines as well as electric batteries for Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles.





A modern factory is a blend of the highest standards of the automotive industry with the concept of “Industry 4.0”, and its launch has increased the production capacity of the Mercedes-Benz Group in Eastern Europe, as well as the flexibility and efficiency of its global production network. Construction began in 2017.

Project 1: NeMo Production and Assembly Plant for the Production of Four-Cylinder Car Engines.
